THANKS so much to the Super Hosts that you are. We appreciated location and the park setting, the peacefulness and the comfort of your gite. Not to mentioned it was well equiped and so very clean ( not like few of our previous visted places), The children (8 and 10) just enjoy it all,the pool and the rabit to pet, of course.

The crowded mobile homes sites, so very expensive compare to your place, are no longer an option for us; So at the kids demand, see you next summer; Joanna's Family, Scotland

This was our third visit to Gite du Parc & again we had a fantastic holiday.
The Gites provide an ideal base to explore the beautiful Vendee, which still after 3 visits we have only touched on part of what it can offer. There are many towns to explore such as the pretty Apremont inland or the large resort of sable O'llonne or smaller but lovely St Hilaire-de-Reiz on the coast to name but a few.
If you want activities the Lac Jaunay is just 10 min away which we would recommend the circular walk around the lake or hire canoes or pedaloes which are great fun. Or if you just want lunch the fantastic restaurant at le Pre on the banks of the lake offers the best Moule frites we have had in France.
If you want to be even more daring the Grand Defi with its multiple Zip wires across the lake & high wire obstacles courses can't be missed.
The beaches are fantastic & stretch from Bretignolles-sur- mer to O'llonne-sur- mer. We like the Grange plage which offers miles of beach, rock pools , sand dunes, cafe and toilets . As it never gets over crowded & only 15 minutes from the Gite.
The Gites are clean, comfortable & very well equipped , the new addition of a much larger fridge was a god send this year. Everything you need is provided make your stay comfortable. The pool is clean and maintained to a high standard. There are many inflatables to keep the children happy but also is a lovely place to relax due to its sheltered position.
Christine & Graham are perfect hosts.

This is the fourth time we have stayed with Graham and Christine and we have become firm friends. They will do their very best to make your stay perfect. Their local knowledge means they can advise you on absolutely anything in the area, from restaurants to flea markets.
This year we enjoyed after dark swimming lit by the fantastic underwater pool lights, night walks in La Richard where we were dive-bombed by bats, collecting glow worms in a jar and sitting outside the Gite being visited by hedgehogs.
The Gite itself has everything you need and is immaculately presented.
We have already planned our return trip, need we say anymore!
